Goodbye Big Mouth Billy Bass....

Gift idea! A fish-themed gift hasn't been this cool since those damn Big Mouth Billy Bass singing pescados. This adorable pitcher not only comes in a myriad of colors, but also...wait for it...gurgles!

Check them out!

Venice Stalker

If you live on the Venice Canals in Los Angeles and saw someone peering in your window last Saturday evening, it wasn't the Venice Stalker. It was me. Well, maybe I am the Venice Stalker. But instead of inappropriate flashing, I just stare at and drool over your lighting fixtures and window treatments.

I was walking with one of my best friends to dinner on Abbott Kinney when we both stopped. As we looked into the large window, I fell in love with the living room. A navy-painted wall with white picture frames (similar to this, but much more simple). Sophisticated beachy!

Empire State of Mind

After listening to Jay-Z's "Blueprint 3" on repeat and watching "The September Issue" four times, this Angeleno jetted to NYC for a quick weekend away. We had perfect 73 degree weather, which allowed for a High Line visit, a Chelsea gallery crawl (saw Juergen Teller's "Paradis" at Lehmann Maupin), and a Met roof party.

The weekend also allowed for the East Coast debut of my shoeties (thanks Rachel Zoe). This Endless.com purchase was well worth the $25 (and free shipping!). They will be my Fall staple, as soon as LA realizes that 98 degree weather at the end of September is annoying.

As if the weekend couldn't get any better, I experienced true star-struck behavior when I happened upon Grace Coddington in the West Village. After gasping, I shouted out "We love you, Grace!" Ask any of my friends, this was definitely out of character.
